👋🏻 Hi there, Meghan and Hannah.

Thanks so much for reaching out for support with the upcoming campaign for Catlin Gabel! I’m honored to be asked, and I’d be excited to partner with you on this.

My background is in non-profits and fundraising, so a campaign like this hits a sweet spot of mine. I’ve worked with various sorts of organizations—addiction recovery and outreach to homeless populations, international aid organizations and social enterprises, higher ed, early ed, arts and museums, etc.—doing everything from direct mail appeals, to annual reports and brochures, to fundraising events.

Below, I’ve put together some samples for you to give you a sense of my experience. Please reach out if you’d like to see any paper samples, or have questions about any other kinds of work I’ve done.

Thanks so much!

Mercy Corps 2016 Annual Report

Mercy Corps wanted a thorough annual report that would fit into a #10 envelope. I created a buckslip design that opened wide to help celebrate their work in 2016.

Mercy Corps 2017 Brochure

I created a simple three-panel brochure for Mercy Corps in 2017 as a leave-behind for high-level events and engagements.

Oregon Humanities Postcard Package

This past fall, I created a simple appeal piece for Oregon Humanities. While the package was technically an ask, we wanted it to feel personal, with a postcard as a token of appreciation tucked inside. I worked with a local artist to create an illustration that touched on the spirit of Oregon Humanities—connection across distances. A piece of stationery from the ED and a reply envelope completed the set.

The Women’s Bakery Direct Mail

I create direct mail packages for The Women’s Bakery several times a year, each including a letter, outer envelope, reply card and inner envelope. The spring 2020 package was a bit more colorful than usual, utilizing the backside for an abridged annual report—this shift allowed the team to focus on other needs as COVID hit globally.

The Women’s Bakery 2018 Impact Report

The Women’s Bakery has created Impact Reports the past few years. Impact reports are meant for broader audiences than donors, striking a middle ground between first-touch brochures and in-depth annual reports.

The first one we created was a horizontal three-fold brochure, meant to fit into a #10 envelope. I created some maps and infographics for the inside page.

The Women’s Bakery 2021 Impact Report

The most recent report was a 8'' x 8'' three-panel self-mailer. We created an immersive timeline to take advantage of the extra-long format inside.

Blue Sky Gallery 2016–2017 Annual Report

This small folded piece for Portland’s Blue Sky Photography Gallery opened up to reveal a poster on the backside.

I’ve also created two exhibition books for Blue Sky—check ‘em out here.

Oregon Environmental Council 2018 Gala

I was asked to design gala materials for OEC’s 50th anniversary gala. Working with the team’s established theme, I created a ‘zine-style invitation with 16 pages to celebrate the accomplishments they’d reached over 50 years. I also adapted their logo to note the anniversary year.

At the risk of being redundant, here are a few more things from my site that feel relevant:

Portland State University
College of Urban and Public Affairs

Look-book for the school, including a back inside cover with a pocket to hold an org map and the schedule for the school year.

The Canyons Collateral

I’ve worked with this client over the years, creating a print brochure, website, ads, vinyl signage and more.
